These terms govern your use of this website and our diagnostic services. By booking a test or using this website, you agree to them.

About our services
Charak Diagnostic Centre provides pathology, radiology, nuclear medicine, cardiac and related diagnostic services. Our services are diagnostic aids and are not a substitute for consultation with a qualified doctor. Your reports should always be interpreted by your treating physician.
Booking and appointments
- You can book a test at a centre or, where every test you choose allows it, as a home collection.
- Available time slots are shown when you book and are offered subject to availability at that moment.
- Some tests are performed only at specific centres; where a test you book is performed at another centre, this is arranged for you.
- For certain tests, a valid doctor's prescription or referral may be required.
Pricing and payment
- The price shown at the time of booking is the price that applies to that booking. Prices may change from time to time.
- Online payments are processed securely by our payment gateway (Razorpay). We do not store your card or bank details.
- An invoice is issued for every booking.
Reports and turnaround
We make every effort to deliver your reports within the turnaround times indicated, but these are estimates, not guarantees — some tests, such as cultures and histopathology, take longer by their nature, and a result may be delayed where a sample needs to be repeated. Your reports are confidential and are made available to you and, where applicable, your referring doctor.
Home sample collection
Home collection is available for eligible tests within our service area. You are responsible for providing an accurate address and being available at the chosen time. Any preparation required for your test — such as fasting — applies to a home collection just as it does at the centre.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete personal and medical information.
- Follow the preparation instructions for your test.
- Provide a valid prescription or referral where a test requires one.
- Use this website and our services lawfully and not attempt to disrupt them.
Regulated tests
Certain investigations are governed by law. In accordance with the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT) Act, we do not perform or disclose pre-natal sex determination under any circumstances. Tests that require counselling by law are preceded by that counselling.
Intellectual property
The content, design and branding of this website belong to Charak Diagnostic Centre and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Limitation of liability
Our services are provided with due professional care. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for outcomes arising from the interpretation of a report other than by a qualified doctor. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, have jurisdiction over any dispute.
